Smarter offices, lower emissions with the Voltalis demand side energy system

Experts in Renewable Energy

Overview

The Barton Knight Group has reduced its energy usage and costs after fitting smart energy technology from Voltalis to its head offices in Guildford.

Voltalis’s solution is fully funded, so the technology is completely free to the end user. It is designed to provide immediate energy savings and carbon reductions.  Customers can save up to 15% savings on their heating and air conditioning bills.

Fitted by Barton Knight’s own in-house team, the installation is part of a broader joint initiative between the electrical contractor and Voltalis to offer the technology to commercial property owners and managers who want to manage and reduce their energy use.

Key Works

The Voltalis system includes a small, discreet thermostat, and smart switches that can be fitted to existing electric heating and air conditioning units to monitor and adjust energy use. This turns them into ‘smart appliances’ that can be managed via the Voltalis app – reducing energy consumption, costs, and carbon emissions.

The smart system is installed directly to existing appliances, with no need for new controls or rewiring – making it a seamless and disruption-free solution for buildings of all sizes.

Installed on 10 heating and cooling units across Barton Knight Group headquarters in Guildford, Voltalis technology began delivering results from day one.

Voltalis is a leading European energy technology company that specialises in Demand Side Response energy management.
