Installed on 10 heating and cooling units across Barton Knight Group headquarters in Guildford, Voltalis technology began delivering results from day one.
Voltalis is a leading European energy technology company that specialises in Demand Side Response energy management.
The system includes a small, discreet thermostat, and smart switches fitted to existing electric heating and cooljng units. This turns them into ‘smart appliances’ that can be managed via the Voltalis app, reducing energy consumption, costs, and carbon emissions.
“It’s a small change with a big impact,” explains Matthew Barton, Director of the Barton Knight Group. “We’re cutting our energy use and lowering our carbon emissions, by using a free smart energy solution.”
Fitted by Barton Knight’s own in-house team, the installation is part of a broader joint initiative between the electrical contractor and Voltalis. The two companies are offering the smart energy technology to commercial property owners and managers looking to monitor/reduce their energy use and make a positive environmental impact.
